Public Transportation in June Lake

 


ESTA

The Eastern Sierra Transit Authority operates a Winter Transit Route between Mammoth Lakes and June Lake on weekends and holidays.

CREST

The CREST line's 'Reno-Lone Pine' route is available Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the June Lake Junction, traveling US Highway 395 North to Reno and back to Lone Pine.  Bus Stop times at June Lake Junction are 8:40am (NB) and 5:00pm (SB), and the fare to Reno is $40.00.  In Reno you can connect with Amtrak, Greyhound, or the Reno Airport.

YARTS

The Yosemite Area Regional Transit System operates buses through the June Lake Loop, to Tuolumne Meadows and the Yosemite Valley over Tioga Pass during the Summer Months.  The YARTS also extends west to Central California and will connect with Greyhound, Amtrak, other regional transit routes and Major Airports.

Alaska Airlines at Mammoth Airport

The Mammoth Lakes Airport (MMH) lies about 20 minutes to our south.  Daily flights are available through Alaska Airlines.  No regular public transit service exists between this Airport and June Lake.  Rental Cars and Taxicabs are available.

Yosemite Regional Transportation System has convenient stops withinin the June Lake Loop.  YARTS  provides affordable and comfortable transportation to and from Yosemite National Park and connects to other Buses, Trains and airline services in Central California.

 

The June Lake Loop is located within beautiful Mono County, California.
